Newcastle Kart Racing Club will be conducting the
“2022 MIR Race Line Kart Championships”
on Friday 23rd September – Sunday 25th September.

Pre-Entry is Open
Entry Fee for the meeting is $195.00.
Entries Close Midnight Wednesday 21st September. No Entries Late Entries.
Classes will close when track capacity is reached (40). No Oversubscribed.

Thursday 22nd September:
Gates Open 7.30am.
Pit Setup ONLY – 8.00am – 4.30pm

Friday 23rd September:
Gates Open 7.30am.
Official Practice – 9.00am – 4.30pm in Race Order

Saturday 24th September:
Gates Open at 6.30am.
Canteen Open – 7.00am
Drivers Briefing 7.40am
Qualifying Starts – 8.00am
Racing – After Qualifying

Sunday 25th September:
Gates Open at 6.30am.
Canteen Open – 7.00am
Racing Resumes – 8.00am

Direction – Anti-Clockwise

Qualifying – All Classes – 6 Minutes

Cadet 9, Cadet 12, KA4 Junior & TaG 125 Restricted
Heats 1 & 2 – 10 Laps – Grid from Qualifying – Fastest to the Front.
Heat 3 – 10 Laps. Grid from Heat 1 & 2 points – Lowest to the front.
Heat 4 – 12 Laps. Grid from Heat 1, 2 & 3 points – Lowest to the front.
Final – 15 Laps – Grid from Heat 1, 2, 3 & 4 points – Lowest to the front.

KA3 Junior, KA2, KA3 Senior, TaG 125, X30 & KZ2
Heats 1 & 2 – 12 Laps – Grid from Qualifying – Fastest to the Front.
Heat 3 – 12 Laps. Grid from Heat 1 & 2 points – Lowest to the front.
Heat 4 – 14 Laps. Grid from Heat 1, 2 & 3 points – Lowest to the front.
Final – 18 Laps – Grid from Heat 1, 2, 3 & 4 points – Lowest to the front.

Trophies:
Winner will be the driver who finishes first in the Final. (Final Only Counts)
1st to 3rd – All Classes.
1st Place in each class wins the coveted 2022 NSW Kart Champion “Blue Plate”

A reminder that Drivers are now required to complete their Scrutineering Forms Electronically and can be completed and submitted at any time prior to the Event.
