NSW’s most prestigious karting championship

The North Shore Kart Club is set to host the 2019 NSW Kart Championship in what shapes as being the State’s largest and most prestigious karting event for the year. The challenging Eastern Creek International Karting Complex is the venue for the event from July 5-7.

Enduring history back many decades, the NSW Kart Championship is one of the most sought after titles in Australian karting with previous winners including the likes of Supercars Champions James Courtney and Mark Winterbottom.

With 12 Classes of competition being contested, there will be an opportunity for Karting Australia licenced drivers from across the State and across the country to take home the prestigious NSW blue plate.  The Classes on offer will be Cadet 9, Cadet 12, KA4 Junior Light, KA4 Junior Heavy, KA3 Junior, KA3 Senior Light & Medium, TaG 125 Light & Heavy, X30 Light along with Restricted 125 Light & Medium.
All classes will be using the “Prime” Dry Tyre option.

The three days of on-track action will incorporate practice on Friday July 5 ahead of qualifying and heat races on Saturday July 6 with the remainder of the four heat races contested on Sunday July 7 prior to the Champions being decided in the 20-lap finals.

The Approved Supplementary Regulations are available in the Upcoming Events section of this website. Entries in each class will only be accepted up to track capacity, so make sure you enter early on the Karting Australia Competition Management System to secure your place on the grid.
