There is a new look for karting in Greater Sydney with the rebranding of the only kart club located in the Harbour City.

The new name – Greater Sydney Kart Club moves the North Shore Kart Club into a new era to represent the Club’s growing membership base within the Greater Sydney region and its new home at the Indy 800 circuit in Wilberforce.

The new logo incorporates elements of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge, the sky blue of New South Wales and the three cities – the Western Parkland City, the Central River City and the Eastern Harbour City – collectively become Greater Sydney.  These elements combine with the iconic Karting Australia kart device and dynamic speed stream from the core Karting Australia brands to highlight the Club’s alignment through Karting Australia (NSW) with the sport’s National Governing body – the organisation that has the delegated authority for karting in Australia from the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) and Motorsport Australia.

“After the recent announcement that we have a new home, everyone on the Club’s Committee is excited now to be able to share our new name and image to provide the Club with a lasting brand for many years to come,” said Greater Sydney Kart Club President Darren Cohen.

“As the only sprint kart club in Greater Sydney and with our new home – Indy 800 being right in the heart of Greater Sydney it was only natural that this name change was in order.

“2022 sees the Club enter an exciting new era and one where we will set about building a new brand of family friendly karting where everyone is welcome at the Greater Sydney Kart Club.”

The Greater Sydney Kart Club will host its first event at the Indy 800 circuit in early 2022.
