Greater Sydney Kart Club presents the “2022 Greater Sydney Cup” to be held in conjuction
with the Club Championship Rounds 2 & 3″
Club Championship Round 2/Greater Sydney Cup Round 1 – 11th June
Club Championship Round 3/Greater Sydney Cup Round 2 – 12th June

Competitors can enter one Round or both Rounds if they wish.
Competitors must put in two entries if they are wishing to participate in both.

Pre-Entries are Open.
Entry Fee for each Round is $75.00 per driver per class.
Entries Close Midnight Thursday 9th June for CC Rnd 2/GS Cup Rnd 1. No Entries on the day.
Entries Close Midnight Friday 10th June for CC Rnd 3/GS Cup Rnd 2. No Entries on the day

Format for the Meeting is:
Friday 10th June, 2022
Gates Open at 8.30am
Practice – 9.00am – 4.00pm.
This must be booked and paid for through Indy 800 Kart Track. This can be booked by phone on (02) 4575 1265

Saturday 11th June, 2022 – Club Champ Rnd 2/Greater Sydney Cup Rnd 1
Gates Open 7.30am
Scrutineering if Required – 8.00am to 8.45am
Qualifying Starts 9.00am

Sunday 12th June, 2022 – Club Champ Rnd 3/Greater Sydney Cup Rnd 2
Gates Open 7.30am
Scrutineering if Required – 8.00am to 8.45am
Qualifying Starts 9.00am

Race Format:
Direction – Anti-Clockwise
Qualifying to commence at 9.00am.
Permitted System of Gridding – Format 2

All Classes:
Qualifying – 6 Minutes
Heats 1 & 2 – 10 Laps – Grid from Qualifying – Fastest to the Front.
Heat 3 – 12 Laps – Grid from Heat 1 & 2 points – Lowest to the Front.
Final – 15 Laps – Grid from Heat 1, 2, & 3 points – Lowest to the front.

Trophies & Awards:
Club Championship Rounds 2 and 3.
Trophies will be awarded to the first three place getters in each class for each Round.
The winner of the Event will be the Driver who wins the Final. “Final Only Counts”.
(Championship Points System will be used – DSQ points = Field plus one).
Greater Sydney Cup (Round 1 & 2)
Points will be allocated to Fastest Qualifier, All Competitors Heats and the Final in Each Round as per the table in the Supp Reg’s.
The Points from each Round will accumulated and Trophies will be awarded to the top three point scorers in each class.
In addition the Winning Competitor in each Class will be awarded the “2022 NSW State Cup Winner” Black Plate.

Cadet 9, Cadet 12
KA4 Junior (Championship Weight), KA3 Junior
KA3 Senior (Championship Weight)
TaG 125 Restricted Light, Medium, Heavy, Masters Light & Masters Medium
TaG 125 (Championship Weight) & KZ2

Special Notes:
A reminder that Drivers are now required to complete their Scrutineering Forms Electronically and can be completed and submitted at any time prior to the Event.
