Newcastle Kart Racing Club will be conducting Round 3 of the 2023 “Kurrie Hot Bread” Club Championship
/ Rotax Winter Cup Rnd 3 on SAT/SUN 19th & 20th August.

Pre-Enties are OPEN in the new KOMP System.
Entry Fee for the meeting is $150.00.
Entries Close Midday Friday 18th August. No Entries on the day.

Friday 18th August.
Gates Open at 6.30am.
Unofficial Practice 9.00am – 4.00pm – Free for Race Entrants

Saturday 19th August.
Gates Open at 6.30am.
Official Practice – 8.00am – 11.00am
Drivers Briefing – 11.30am
Qualifying – After Drivers Briefing.
Racing – After Qualifying.

Sunday 20th August.
Gates Open at 6.30am.
Canteen Opens at 7.00am
Racing Resumes – 8.30am.

Format for the Meeting is: Permitted Systems of Gridding – Format 2
Direction – Anti-Clockwise ON THE LONG TRACK
Practice Sessions – Two Sessions starting at 8.30am
Qualifying – 6 Minutes Starting after Practice Sessions
Heats 1 & 2 – 10 Laps – Grid from Qualifying – Fastest to the Front.
Heat 3 – 12 Laps. Grid from Heat 1 & 2 points – Lowest to the front.
Final – 12 Laps – Grid from Heat 1, 2 & 3 points – Lowest to the front.

Trophies:
Winner will be the driver who finishes first in the Final. (Final Only Counts)
1st to 3rd – All Classes.
Medallions will be awarded to 4th & 5th in Cadet 9 & Cadet 12.

Mini MAX, Junior MAX, Rotax Light & Heavy, DD2 & DD2 Masters
Note: DD2 Masters – You must have turned 32 Years of Age by 31/12/2023.

Special Notes:
A reminder that Drivers will now submit their Scrutineering Form during Entry
in the new KOMP System and do not need a separate lodgement.
